Roberto Alcántara Rojas (born 1947 in Acambay) is a Mexican businessman and head director of the low-cost airline Viva Aerobus 〔()〕 and the IAMSA group, a group with more than 5 mayor bus companies in Mexico. He is the son of late Senator Jesus Alcantara Miranda and the brother in law of Oaxaca's former governor José Murat Casab. Alcántara's past jobs includes the director of the former Mexican bank Bancrecer, before declaring bankruptcy. In April 2015, it was revealed by Proceso Magazine that Alcántara had sold his former house to the most important member of the President's Cabinet, the Secretary of Interior, Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong. Legal documents show that the house was sold at a price of 33,870,190 Mexican Pesos in 2011 just before Osorio Chong took office.
